Mr Brearley has a large practice in hernia and gall bladder surgery and, in addition, has a special interest in paediatric surgery.
His principal specialisation is in vascular surgery – varicose veins, blocked arteries (intermittent claudication) and aneurysms – employing both open and minimal access techniques (endovenous laser ablation, angioplasty, endovascular aneurysm repair). He has in addition a special interest in paediatric surgery.
Mr Brearley is a firm believer in outlining all treatment options to patients and involving them in decision making about their care.
