Unexplained infertility

Sometimes it’s difficult to identify an exact cause of infertility. However in many cases female infertility is age-related and is due to a reduction in the number and quality of eggs available (ovarian reserve). It's for this reason that fertility rates begin to decline after the age of 35 (in both natural and assisted conception).

As more women put off their first pregnancy to focus on their careers and finances we are seeing ever more cases of infertility caused by fewer good quality eggs and embryos being available. Thankfully there are a wide range of fertility treatments available to help.
